Two primary programs exist to provide blindness rehabilitation. They include:
Project Independence – This program is for seniors who are 55 or older and want to remain independent in their home. For additional information, click here.
Vocational Rehabilitation – This program is for people who have a disability, want to work, but their disability currently prevents them from doing so. Everything described in the vocational rehabilitation program elsewhere on this site applies to people with vision loss. A team of specially trained counselors for the blind are there to assist you to return to work. For more information, click here.
